Wildlife
The City of San José has a working partnership with the Wildlife Center of Silicon Valley (WCSV). All of the wildlife we pick-up is transported to the WCSV.
If you are holding wildlife that is injured or in need of help please take the animal directly to the WCSV during their business hours
if it is safe for you to do so. If it is
not safe for you to transport the animal yourself please call our office and one of our Dispatchers will arrange for one of our ACS Officers to pick the animal up from you.
Please note: It is illegal to hold or rehabilitate native wildlife without a state and/or federally-issued rehabilitation permit.
