    June 26, 10:00 AM @ Vasona Lake County Park: (Playground Parking Lot)

    Learn the possible consequences of using fireworks. This event will call attention to the risks of using fireworks in San Jose and Santa Clara County. Independence Day celebrations nationwide result in over 10,000 injuries annually. The associated risks of using fireworks include devastating burns, injuries, fires, and significant impacts to family pets. Hospitals, fire departments, law enforcement, and other emergency services agencies encourage residents to celebrate safely by attending outdoor public displays conducted by trained professionals throughout Santa Clara County.
